How it works
Choose the maximum number of characters per line (5 to 1,000, 40 by default). Lines that are already short enough are left alone; longer ones are wrapped at the last space that fits. Existing line breaks are kept.
A word that is longer than the whole line can be broken up (on by default) or left on its own line to stick out.
Common widths are 72 or 80 characters for e-mail and code, and 40 for subtitles. The note tells you how many extra lines were made.
To do the opposite and join broken lines, use remove line breaks.
