    Icon sizes

    An ICO file can hold several sizes of the same icon. Choose which ones to include: 16, 32, 48 and 256 pixels cover favicons and Windows shortcuts; add 24, 64 or 128 for other uses. The image is fitted into a square, with transparent bars if it isn't square, and every size is stored as a PNG inside the icon, which all modern systems support. Start from a square image of at least 256 × 256 pixels for the best result.
