Include the end date or not?
By default the calculator counts the nights in between: from Monday to Wednesday is 2 days. Tick Include the end date to count both days, for example for leave from Monday up to and including Wednesday: that is 3 days.
Working days
Working days are Monday to Friday. The option to skip public holidays uses the Dutch public holidays (New Year's Day, Easter Monday, King's Day, 5 May, Ascension Day, Whit Monday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day), because the tool started out on the Dutch version of this site. For other countries, leave that option off and subtract your own holidays.
