Options
- Count Y as a vowel: Y is then kept instead of removed.
- Also remove digits and punctuation: only vowels and spaces remain. Without it, digits, punctuation and symbols are left as they are and only letters are removed.
Accented vowels such as é count as vowels. Letters outside the Latin alphabet aren't treated as consonants, so they stay.
The note under the result tells you how many characters were removed. For the opposite, use remove vowels.
