What stays
By default the tool keeps letters (with their accents), numbers and whitespace, and removes everything else: €, #, @, %, brackets, quotes, emoji and so on. Four options change that:
- Keep letters with accents (é, ü, ñ). Untick it to turn them into plain letters first.
- Keep normal punctuation (. , ! ? - ').
- Keep emoji.
- Tidy leftover double spaces after characters are removed.
The note under the result says how many characters were removed.
