How to make a QR code with a logo

  1. Type the text or link for your QR code.
  2. Click Choose logo and pick a PNG, JPG or SVG.
  3. Set the logo size (10 to 30% of the code) and keep the white border around it for better contrast.
  4. Pick the colours, or a transparent background, and the size of the PNG (256 to 2048 px).
  5. Download the PNG, or the SVG if you want to print it large or edit it.

Keep it scannable

A logo covers part of the code, and a QR code survives that only thanks to error correction. That is why Highest (30%) is the default here. Tips:

  • Keep the logo below about 25% of the code, and test the result with your phone before printing.
  • Use dark modules on a light background. Light-on-dark codes can't be read by many scanners, and the tool warns you when the contrast is too low.
  • A shorter text makes a simpler code with bigger squares, which scans more easily.
