Quarter turns and free angles
Use the buttons to turn the image 90° left or right. For anything else, use the angle slider: it runs from −180° to +180° in steps of half a degree. Small angles are perfect for straightening a horizon that isn't quite level.
What happens to the corners?
Turning by anything other than a quarter turn leaves empty corners. Choose whether they become transparent (save as PNG or WebP), white or black. The image gets bigger to fit the turned picture, so nothing is cut off.
Mirror instead?
To mirror an image, so that left becomes right, use flip image. To cut off the edges after straightening, use crop image.
Frequently asked questions
Is anything cut off when I rotate?
No. The canvas grows to fit the rotated image, and the empty corners are filled with transparency, white or black, whichever you choose. Crop afterwards if you want the edges trimmed.
Will the quality suffer?
No. The download has the same resolution as your original, unless the tool changes the size itself. Save as PNG to keep every detail, or as JPG or WebP for a smaller file.
Is my image uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser. Your image never leaves your device and is not stored.
