The filters
- Vintage: warm, slightly faded tones like an old print.
- Warm and Cool: shift the colours towards orange or blue.
- Vivid: stronger, more saturated colours.
- Fade: lifted blacks and softer contrast for a matte look.
- Drama: strong contrast and deeper tones.
- Black and white, Sepia and Negative: the classic effects.
Intensity
The intensity slider blends the filter with your original: 100% is the full effect, and around 40–60% is a subtle version that looks more natural. That is usually the better choice for portraits.
Your image stays at its original resolution, unlike when you upload to a social network, which recompresses it. For more control, combine filters with contrast, saturation or a vignette.
Frequently asked questions
Do the filters lower the quality?
No. The filter is applied to the full-resolution image, and you choose the format. Save as PNG for no loss at all.
Why does 100% look too strong?
The full effect is meant to be bold. For a natural look, lower the intensity to around 40–60%.
Is my image uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser. Your image never leaves your device and is not stored.
